Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Factory Worker at Unilever UK, you will play a key role in the production and assembly of our high-quality products. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient production lines, ensuring products meet quality standards, and contributing to the overall operational success of the factory. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of factory experience, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Assist in the assembly and packaging of products.

Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.

Conduct routine checks and maintenance on production equipment.

Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.

Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of production processes, machinery, and equipment maintenance.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on product quality and safety standards.

Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.

Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying issues in production and finding solutions in a timely manner.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with automated production lines.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.

Forklift or other relevant machinery certification is a plus.
