Overview:

Goodrays is looking for a motivated Business Production Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in production or a related field to join our dynamic production team. As a Production Assistant at Goodrays, you will be responsible for supporting the production of our premium CBD products, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. You will work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations in the manufacturing process and contribute to the growth of our exciting, rapidly expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Support: Assist the production team with the daily manufacturing processes, including preparation, setup, and operation of production equipment. Ensure smooth workflow to meet daily production targets.

Quality Control: Support in monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. Inspect products at various stages to ensure they meet Goodrays’ quality specifications.

Inventory Management: Assist in managing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory. Help track inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the production manager.

Equipment Maintenance: Help maintain production equipment, ensuring it is clean, properly set up, and functioning well. Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production machines.

Packaging & Labeling: Assist in the packaging process, ensuring that products are accurately labeled and packed in accordance with Goodrays’ quality and regulatory standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for production batches, including raw material usage, product volumes, and packaging details. Assist in tracking production performance against KPIs.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Keep the production environment clean and organized to comply with health and safety standards.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the production team, including supervisors, quality control, and warehouse staff, to ensure efficient and timely completion of production schedules.

Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and product quality. Assist in implementing new processes or technologies.

Problem-Solving: Assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during the production process, including machinery malfunctions or quality deviations, and help identify solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

Production Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or related environment. Experience in the CBD, food, or beverage industry is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision, with the ability to spot issues and ensure products meet the required standards.

Technical Skills: Comfortable working with production machinery, basic equipment setup, and maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues is a plus.

Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, track production details, and maintain documentation accurately.

Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues across different departments.

Health & Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of basic health and safety regulations within a production environment. Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards is an advantage.

Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods, lift materials, and engage in other physically demanding tasks typical in a production setting.

Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing role, ideally within a regulated industry such as food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals.

Experience with inventory management, packaging processes, or quality control in a production setting is a plus.

Previous experience in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency is key.
