Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Business Social Media Manager with at least 2 years of experience to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing our business’s social media strategy across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive business growth. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall business objectives and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business goals, target audience, and overall marketing strategy.

Content Creation & Curation: Develop engaging and relevant content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), including posts, graphics, videos, and stories. Ensure content is consistent with brand voice and image.

Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, and foster positive relationships with followers and potential clients. Actively engage with the community through comments, messages, and other interactive content.

Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns, including paid ads, promotions, contests, and collaborations, to boost brand visibility and drive traffic to business platforms.

Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and posts. Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to measure engagement, reach, conversion rates, and ROI. Adjust strategies based on data insights.

Brand Monitoring & Competitor Analysis: Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitors, and emerging social media tools and strategies. Adjust content and strategies to stay competitive and innovative.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other teams, such as design, content, and sales, to ensure cohesive and effective social media strategies. Support the team with content ideas for campaigns, blog posts, and other marketing initiatives.

Social Media Advertising: Develop and manage paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads) to meet business objectives, track performance, and optimize campaigns for better reach and engagement.

Influencer Partnerships: Identify potential influencer partnerships that align with the brand’s goals and values. Collaborate with influencers to create authentic, branded content that resonates with the target audience.

Stay Updated on Trends: Continuously research and stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the business’s social presence relevant and engaging.

Skills & Qualifications:

Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).

Content Creation & Design: Strong creative skills with the ability to create compelling content, from written copy to graphics and video. Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Analytics & Reporting: Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to measure social media performance and optimize campaigns.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and persuasive content.

Project Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Branding & Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of branding, digital marketing, and how social media fits into the larger marketing strategy.

Creative Thinking: Ability to think outside the box and create innovative campaigns that capture attention and engage the target audience.

Customer-Focused: A customer-centric mindset, always considering the audience and community when developing content and engaging with followers.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a business or marketing environment.

Proven experience creating and executing social media strategies, campaigns, and content calendars.

Experience managing paid social media campaigns and ad budgets.

Demonstrated success in growing social media followers, engagement, and brand visibility.
