Job Overview:
Willmott Dixon is looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer with at least 1 year of experience in the construction industry to join our team. In this role, you will support construction projects by performing physical tasks on-site and assisting with various aspects of building and construction work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and clearing of construction sites, ensuring they are safe and organized.

Carry out general laboring tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials around the site.

Operate construction equipment and tools as directed, under the supervision of senior workers.

Assist tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and bricklayers, in completing tasks efficiently.

Help with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.

Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and the construction site to ensure they are in good working order.

Follow safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring that the construction site adheres to all health and safety standards.

Report any hazards, accidents, or issues to the site supervisor immediately.

Support the completion of various construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the required standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a construction laborer or in a similar role.

Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labor.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to apply them on-site.

Good communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors.

Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card preferred but not essential.

Valid UK driving license (desirable, depending on the role location).
