Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in civil engineering, with a solid understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and project management. This role requires a candidate who can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, while contributing to the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior engineers and other professionals to design and manage civil engineering projects.

Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data and ensure project specifications are met.

Perform calculations and analyses related to structural integrity, materials, and design feasibility.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure the smooth progression of projects.

Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Assist with project documentation, including reports, permits, and approvals.

Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Provide support in the resolution of engineering challenges and issues during project development.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in civil engineering, preferably in [specific sector such as construction, transportation, environmental, etc.].

Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar programs).

Knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Professional certification (e.g., Engineer-in-Training or working towards Professional Engineer status) is a plus.

Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
